Terms of Service

Who these terms apply to

These Terms of Service apply to all users of munē (app.getmune.com) and the Mune Technologies website (getmune.com), including free tier users, Personal subscribers, and users accessing munē through an employer benefit arrangement.

What munē is and is not

munē provides three types of guidance:

• Financial education: Plain-language explanations of financial concepts. No restrictions.
• Personalized education: Guidance that references your actual data — framed as education, not advice.
• Licensed advice boundary: When a question requires a licensed professional, munē says so clearly and helps you find one. We never cross that line.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. munē uses magic links and one-time passwords — we do not store passwords. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must be 18 or older to create a consumer account. munē Jr. accounts for children ages 5–17 must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.

Subscriptions and billing

• Free tier: Always free. No credit card required. No expiry.
• Personal — Monthly: $9.99 per month. Billed monthly. Cancel anytime.
• Personal — Annual: $79.99 per year. Billed annually. Cancel anytime for a prorated refund of the unused portion.
• Trial extensions: One 7-day trial extension per account, available once.

We process payments through Stripe. Your payment information is handled by Stripe and is never stored by Mune Technologies Inc. directly.

We will never increase prices without giving you at least 30 days notice. If we increase prices, you will be given the option to cancel before the new price takes effect.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time in three taps from your Profile screen. No questions asked. No cancellation fees. No dark patterns. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. Your data remains available to export during that time.

The Carry

The Carry is munē's access program for users for whom cost is a genuine barrier. It provides full Personal access at no charge. The Carry is funded by paying subscribers — one Carry access for every ten Personal subscribers. Carry access is not a right and is granted at Mune Technologies' discretion. Carry users agree to at least one check-in per week and to exit the program when their financial situation stabilizes.

Employer benefit arrangements

If you access munē through an employer benefit arrangement, your individual data is never shared with your employer. Employers receive only anonymized, aggregate reports about their workforce's financial wellness progress. Your personal financial data, archetype, and Receipt remain private to you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use munē for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or any other user's data.
• Upload bank statements or financial documents that belong to someone else without their explicit consent.
• Use munē to provide financial advice to third parties in a commercial capacity.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the platform.

Intellectual property

The munē platform, the Financial Archetype Framework, the Munē Score system, the Financial Vitals system, and all associated content are the intellectual property of Mune Technologies Inc. Three provisional patents are pending at USPTO.

Your personal data — your Receipt entries, your Blueprint, your arc — belongs to you. You can export it and take it with you at any time.

Limitation of liability

Mune Technologies Inc. provides munē as a financial education tool. We are not liable for financial decisions you make based on information provided by the platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

Changes to these terms

We will notify you by email at least 30 days before making material changes to these terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account before the changes take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware, except where prohibited by applicable law.
